Join us on August 20th for a fun Back to School Bash!

Who is ready to kick off the school year right? Before hitting the books and cheering on the Hoos this Fall, we have an epic Back to School Bash for you! Whether you are a Hoo returning to town or your summer in Charlottesville is coming to an end, this bash is to celebrate you!

We invite you to join us at the Dairy Market for a FREE day of patio activities, lawn games, face painting, balloon animals, music, a bike bar, Hoo spirit, and great food and beverages for purchase from our Merchants. All you need to do is grab your friends, wear your school merch, and bring your school spirit!

12PM-9PM 

All Day Back to School Bash on the patio of the Dairy Market.
Enjoy patio and lawn games all day, including corn hole, jumbo jenga, and sidewalk chalk. Celebrate with your favorite Food/Drink from the Dairy Market Merchants (inside the market). Show up early to try South and Central brunch, 10am – 2pm.

12PM-2PM

Show your school spirit with a custom Face Painting from Expressions Face Painting and Balloon Animals.

1PM-7PM

DJ Cle mixing beats along with a patio dance party.

2PM-5PM

Chalk Art Contest in the street. Come show us what you got. One talented winner will receive a prize!

4PM-9PM

Get sippin’ on a cocktail or mocktail from The Milkman’s Bike Bar. Made with house-infused juices.

Parking

Grady Avenue, the road in front of Dairy Market, WILL BE CLOSED. Please enter the market parking lot from West Street, behind the Dairy Market, or Preston Avenue, past the Grady Avenue entrance, or we encourage you to take an alternative form of transportation, like biking!
