CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (CBS19 NEWS) — The Easter Bunny made a special appearance at the Dairy Market on Saturday for an Easter celebration.
There were 3,000 eggs distributed around Dairy Market, and someone won a gift card. There was also a scavenger hunt for families to complete and miniature horses from Rainbow mini horses to promote the Foxfield Races, coming up on April 29.
“Dairy Market’s always been a community building for almost 100 years now. It’s really wonderful when we get to bring the community together here. Everybody gets to just congregate and have a good time together. It’s really nice to see everyone happy and smiling it was great,” said Eleanor Vonachen, the General Manager of Dairy Market.
There was a great turnout with more than 600 people attending Saturday’s event.
