CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (CBS19 NEWS) — Local bakery KrissyCakes teamed up with the Dairy Market to host the fourth annual toy drive and Christmas extravaganza on Sunday.

“We basically just want to give back to the community at this time of year, so it is really important to me. We go and try to cater 600-700 kids,” said Kristy Jones, the owner of KrissyCakes.

Kristy’s brother, and owner of The Barber’s Den, Jamal Dowell, also gave out haircuts to get kids cleaned up and ready for their pictures with Santa.

“We always get business given to us and man, it means a lot to us to be able to give back to everybody else and those who always look out for us,” he said. “There is no way we should be working out in our community if we are not giving out to our community.”
